Michelle Lilley Counselling

A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Michelle Lilley and I am a counsellor providing both short- and long-term therapy to individuals, couples and groups.

I am a Relational Transactional Analyst

This means I use various methods in our sessions, including transactional analysis, integrative and relational therapy.

I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space in which to explore the challenges you are going through.

I aim to provide support and compassion for those in distress and struggling to cope. I believe change can come about by understanding how you have been impacted, where your strengths lie to help you cope and where you might need support to make changes.

I believe that when you feel understood, by yourself and by me, it can help you to identify what you want and need from yourself and others and how to make that happen.

I am fully qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute.

I am also a member of the following organisations:

  • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • IARTA - The International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis
  • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy

Speak in confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.

Make better, healthier new choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.
